Check back soon for a full review by Mia Arevalo of two nights of great live jazz music and a peek into the future of jazz at the hottest new performance space in the Arts District in DTLA, Sound Dhaba, where, with the Just Jazz Foundation, presented a beautiful duo set featuring trumpeter Julien Knowles and alto saxophonist Devin Daniels and a killer set with rising jazz pianist Isaiah Harwood and Treekeeper featuring Isaiah on piano, Graeham Guerin on bass, Mark Ferber on drums and Devin Daniels on sax. Tonight, our just jazz student jam session will be hosted by trombonist Jon Hatamiya and USC Thornton School Of Music jazz students Kazeem Dairo, Yejin Kwon, Quinn Simms and Phia Papouchado.
