Frederick Smith Jr, is a seasoned television production professional who dedicated 44 years to the CBS Television Network as a Video Editor. His impactful career at CBS Sports, spanning 1978 to 1996, included creating some of the most iconic video images in the history of televised sports. In 1990 he helped launch NBA's Inside Stuff on NBC and in 1995 contributed to the launch of CBS' Late Late Show franchise. A five-time Emmy Award winner, Fred retired from CBS in December 2021. In 2001 he founded HoopTV and in 2014 founded All Music Television LLC, a prominent music television production company which led him to create Just Jazz TV in 2018. Frederick's contributions extend beyond television, as he, Sam Milgrom and business partner LeRoy Downs played a key role in revitalizing Los Angeles' jazz scene, earning the duo the 2023 Jazz Heroes Award for innovative programming in jazz music.

LeRoy Downs, known as “The Jazzcat,” is an icon in the jazz industry, boasting a 25-year broadcasting and hosting career with the likes of the “Just Jazz” show on 89.9 FM KCRW. Beyond radio, LeRoy curates the Just Jazz Concert Series, partnering with various Los Angeles venues. With over Two Decades in the jazz industry, LeRoy has hosted numerous festivals and performances, including collaborations with Emmy award-winning television producer Fredrick Smith. Under the umbrella of All Music Television, their combined expertise led to the creation of diverse programs and events such as “Weekend Music,” “Live from The Blue Whale,” “The Jazz Creative,” and more. The collaboration aims to continue pushing the music forward and returning jazz to its classic prominence.
